So for the news....the reason I write today.....
I AM ENGAGED!!!!
My amazing boyfriend proposed to me while we were at a Modonna concert in Montreal!!
YYYYYEEEEAAAAHHHH!!!!!!!!! 2月28日 ~*~College Rocks!!!~*~Wow!!! It has been awhile hasn't it? I am just sooo busy with papers and assignments due. It's been CRAZY!!! I started college for those of you who don't remember. So far I have already completed my Foundations for Success course. It was a pass/fail course so it was pretty easy. I passed my exemption exam for my Intro to Quantitive Methods....so I don't need to take that. I just recently completed all my midterm exams. So far that is going alright....except Microeconomics. Micro is a complicated course....I understand it all in class but when I wrote the midterm I found it difficult to understand. I wasn't the only one. Getting 19.5 out of 30 was pretty good when you consider that the class average was 15.
College hasn't been all that easy. Take my Marketing course for example....I was required to do an Environmental Scan on the Economics of the Adventure Tourism Industry in and around the Newfoundland and Labrador Region. *LOL* Now I was just about as clueless as you are right now on what the hell that meant! The thing about it is that they assign this knowing full well that we are clueless and they do it on purpose!! How fair is that? I did alright though....got a 77% and managed to keep my head once again, above the class average. Keep in mind that along with the assignment we were required to hand in an APA Citation, aswell as a record of all the time we speant researching and completing the assingment....I'm guessing that this is where I lost most of my marks as I made that part up. *lol*
Accounting on the other hand is definatly my strongest course. I've got a near perfect grade in this course so far. I'm still waiting for my midterm results but I am expecting no less then a 90% and would be shocked if I didn't achieve this. My teacher is fantastic and funny, not to mention that he is completely good looking...for a 40 something. We actually have a bit of a pool before class to see how many times he swears...included in this is any references to the usage of drugs. So far the only time he hasn't even sworn once is when I bring my 9 year old daughter to class with me...which is respectful.
I have met alot of people here at Algonquin....all of whom I like. I am just truly having a great time in college!!! As the McDonalds jingle would say....."I'm Lovin' It!!!"
So now I am on Spring Break....although it doesn't seem much like spring out there. -19 today. And it doesn't seem like much of a break either. I have a micro assignment to work on....and lots of reading to catch up on. I also have an english assignment and a test to prep for when I get back. SPRING BREAK MY ASS!!!!

12月2日 ~*~WOOHOO!!!~*~I Passed My Test!!!!!!!!!!
EVERYBODY HAPPY DANCE!! YAY!!! I passed my Grade 12 Entry Level Exam for the Business Administration Course I want to take. I am so HAPPY about it!! It was so hard!!! I had to write 2 tests, for each test I was allowed 35 minutes. The first test had 50 questions on it. Crazy!! That's less then a minute for each question. Thank god it was multiple choice but don't let that fool you...it was no walk in the park!! After I wrote the tests I actually broke down in my car and cried because I thought for sure that I had failed. I felt like a complete fool and who was I kidding thinking that I could succeed in a test that I hadn't completed the course for. Well...silly me!! Not only did I pass but I was at the 12.9 grade level for one test which is the best you can score and I was in the 75 percentile for the other...this is in the above average range!! Phew!! I am so relieved that I swear I am getting really drunk tonight!!! *lol* Hope you all have a great week!! I'M GOING TO COLLEGE!!!!!!!!!!!
